FAQ's
Q. This is awesome. How did you think of this pageant?
A.This pageant was created when the special-needs daughter of the Arkansas Angels Pageant's director begged to do pageants like her sisters. When finding nothing "just right" for her, they decided to make their own. We are blessed to be surrounded by special individuals who exuberate beauty inside and out. No matter their physical or mental ability, everyone has the right to "strut their stuff" and feel BEAUTIFUL.
Q. What qualifies as a "special needs" contestant?
A. A special needs contestant would be one who has been identified by the doctor as having a mental or physical impairment. This also includes, but is not limited to: hearing impaired, and/or blind, having autism, wheelchair bound, etc.
Q. What will be the judging criteria?
A. We will judge based on creativity, personality and over all appearance.
Q. What will be the walk formation?
A. We will have free formation, contestants choose.
Q. Will there be an admission charge?
A. No, admission is free. However, donations to Faith & Friends is appreciated.
Q. What about hair and makeup?
A. The Indiana Angel's Beauty Boutique will be open, and hair and makeup will be provided for contestants wanting these services. Please let us know when you register if you would like to use the Beauty Boutique.
Q. What time does the pageant start/end?
A. The pageant will start at 2pm. Registration will depend on what time your group goes on and what time your hair and makeup appointments (if applicable)
are. More information will be available closer to the pageant.
Our categories are planned as follows:

Q. What is the dress code?
A. Sunday best or pageant wear. Dress/tux rental information will be coming soon. Boys suits are relatively reasonable at Walmart and Burlington Coat Factory.
Q. Will there be a practice?
A. There will not be a group practice, but families are encouraged to practice with your child at home, let them wear their outfit to get used to the textures if they have difficulty adapting to things like that. We want the children to be as comfortable as possible.

A. Yes! Register above.
Q. Can I volunteer to help?
A. YES! Please fill out the volunteer sheet under the "Contact Us" tab.
Q. Where will the pageant be held?
A. The Keenan-Stahl Boys & Girls Club, 1949 E Troy Ave Indianapolis, IN 46203
Q. Will my child have to go on stage by themselves?
A. No! Please know safety is our first concern! The boys will be secorted by ------ and the girls will be escorted by -------. Please note that some
children will rather a family member escort them, and that is perfectly fine with us. Just let us know that is the preferance.
Q. Where do all the profits go?
A. This is a non-profit pageant. All the workers (including the director) are volunteers. All of the registration fees go toward the awards, the venue, and the contestants. We want this to be a special day for the contestants.
Q. Do you take sponsorships?
A. Yes, please! We will glady receive monetary donations or "goodie" donations. Monetary donations will keep the cost of the entry fees FREE for the contestants. We would also love to have enough goodies to fill goodie bags for each contestant. Items with your business logo on them or coupons for
your business would be appreciated. Please fill out the "Contact Us" form if you would like to donate. Sponsors will receive advertising during the pageant
